Storm Ondoy Experience

Car Temp To Park In The Basement
Early morning around 10:00 am, September 26, 2009 in Bagtikan street Makati, my office mate “Marilyn Lobo” remind me to move my car on elevated place due to her flood prediction. I am prepare to move inside the basement of GMA Lou Bel Building to make may car safe, but while I’m on my way down on the entrance my car engine stop and couldn’t start. They try to push the car to move but I resist not going because of the poor break since it push me downward. I decide to park just outside besides the building even it is reserved park for the Owner of the building.
After a few minutes just enough for me to send an email I went down to check again what is going on and I found out that the basement of the building was already filled up with flood. Thank God that my car is not included in the basement filled of flood. I’m close enough to taste the most expensive shake. The car shake crush and scramble inside the basement.
In the history of Bagtikan Street and other street nearby, San Antonio Village in Makati, it is once not to call them a Street but a river.

Yeah! They said that makati is like a river, QC a swimming pool, Espana;an open ocean. Ondoy is really terrible. But I wondered, where are the presidentiables when we terribly need them? Why cant they speak or do something?
kindly read my article about it. thanks

marami talagang napinsala ang “ONDOY” na iyan. Mabuti nalang at ligtas tayo.
Thanks for sharing.
What happened last saturday was so traggic! Just in a blink of an eye, the city turns into a river. And at this moment, they need our help and lots of prayers.
God Bless Philippines…
God Bless Philippines…
panalangin na lang talaga ang pag-asa..
I just saw a video on how cars floated and spitted out from a basement. It’s horrible! I haven’t seen such high waters in Manila until now.
Ingat tol.
i’m glad that you are safe…
thank god at nasa ligtas na lugar kami but i feel bad for those who suffered to much….
God Bless!!!
